E-learning stand for Electronic Learning which is a computer technology that supported education learning on all levels.
This is a fastest-growing method for delivering education and training.
Use our own words, E-learning is a way of learning through internet in house or anywhere.
The students can get an international certificate from oversea or local colleges like Australia, Japan, Hong Kong, Canada or anywhere through e-learning even they are at Malaysia.
According of the improvement of the 21th century, people seeking something that can help them learn in fastest, flexible and convenience way to gain more knowledge even stay at home.
This is the reason that why E-learning become popular and well known by people.
E-learning mostly is for career people, part-time students, senior citizens and so on. This is because they lack of time.

Better definition of e-learning is
ReplyDeleteThe delivery of formal and informal learning activities, processes, communities and events via the all electronic media like internet, extranet, intranet, CD-ROM, TV and etc.

Ya although e learning is seems to be so convenience and save time, but i think it will not guarantee the students to have fully understand about what are they studying because has no one like lecturer is guiding them.
ReplyDeleteanyways, its a good article.
have a nice day!
anyway, in my opinion. It has its own advantages and disadvantages. Example: a student who just can memorize and understand everything when he/she reading a hardcopy of note, but it might doesn't work for him/her if using the E-learning which is in soft copy.
ReplyDeleteHmm...for me, i will not choose e-learning as a pathway to further my studies. Because i love college life and making friends and seeing things, without campus life and friends network, but just dead knowledge from the dead computer, its like...something missing, like you are just a body without the soul. I've seen students who work fulltime in company studying part time in INTI instead of e-learning thou. But e-learning is definately a good option for people who suffer from physical disability.
ReplyDeleteI felt that different people have different likes and dislikes. But for me, I definitely prefer stuying in college rather than e learning. Campus life is the time to build social network with others. Not forgetting this can further enhance your interpersonal like teamwork and unity which is an added advantage while applying for job in future. Anyway it's up to the individual to decide which learning style that suits her/him perfectly.
ReplyDeleteFor me i will choose come to college study cause i can exchange some idea with my friend but if i using e-learning i'm just facing the computer alone. So when have some problem the friends or the partner can help us.
ReplyDeleteIm my opinion, e-learning is a great for those who dont have time to be a full time student but those who receive their education from technology will lack the experience of school or college life and get left out in the most important times of their lives.
